In pairs look up one of the following topics on the internet:

1. Firewall
2. Spyware
3. Viruses
4. Hackers
5. Pop Ups
6. Cookies
7. Spam
8. Phishing

• Present to the class one web site that has information on your topic.
• Describe your topic and how it could effect your home computer or network.
• Find one shareware or freeware application that is related to your topic. Explain how the application works and why it is needed.

Each group will be marked out of 15 marks:

• 5 Marks.
  • Definintion of your topic. For example 'What is spam? How does it effect your computer.
• 5 Marks.
  • Value and accuracy of information web site information.
• 5 Marks.
  • Presentation skills.
